By far the best Mexican food in Clayton.... Staff is super friendly and helpful and are willing to make things not on the menu.

Fresh, Fresh, Fresh! This place had some of the freshest food at any restaurant I've been to in a while. I had freshly grated cheese with fresh cut tomatoes on top of my delicious tostada. The salsa also had fresh cut cilantro and onions in it. It's location isn't the best but the service was friendly and the place was well kept....

This is the most diverse Mexican restaurant I have been to in the area. There is the usual fare - burritos, tacos, enchaladas, and chips and salsa (which are crispy and spicy),and then there is the not American Mexican food: fish dishes, vegetables, beans (not refried), steak. I have been there 3 times now, and have tried dishes adventurously.....

Festejos is one of the better Mexican restaurants in the area. It is located in Clayton in a strip mall filled exclusively with Hispanic owned businesses. I'd take that as a good sign! ......Their burritos and enchiladas are well done. They have a pretty good selection of traditional Mexican dishes....On a previous visit, our dinner mates had a Mexican stew (I can't recall the name of the dish) served in a large stone bowl. It was full of meat and vegetables. It was quite tasty and with the accompanying sides could have fed a small village!
